Nebraska's Gritty 6'7" Swingman Turned Pro Euro Standout
Sam Griesel, the Lincoln native who lit up Nebraska with 10.3 PPG, 5.7 RPG, and 2.6 APG (44.3% FG) in 2022-23, has transitioned seamlessly to pro ball, averaging 8.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in Basketball Champions League with ALBA Berlin (51.5% FG, 72.2% FT in recent games). His differentiator? Elite size for a guard, relentless intensity, and clutch play—nearly triple-doubles at NDSU (15.2 PPG in 2021-22 Summit League). No major injuries; a high-motor leader perfect for teams needing versatile, tough wing depth. Watch him—he's NBA fringe with Euro polish.
