veteran Catamount guard with steadying value and team-first edge
Heather Swayne has long been a dependable Western Carolina guard, with historical team records showing she contributed as a rotation player and even earned starting opportunities in the 2008-09 season. Her value goes beyond box-score numbers: she was also a student-athlete leader and team captain, which points to toughness, communication, and buy-in traits coaches love. The catch is that there isn’t current 2026 season data here to verify present form, so the best read is that she profiles as a seasoned, reliable, culture-setting guard rather than a flashy stat-stuffer.
