Southern Utah CB Derrick Brown: depth-piece profile, not enough current data to call him a proven impact defender
Reliable current performance data for Southern Utah cornerback Derrick Brown is limited, so he projects more as an evaluation player than a proven star right now. Based on the available roster-level information, the key question is upside: does he bring the length, coverage instincts, and physicality coaches want in a modern CB room, and can he separate himself through consistency in camp and game reps? If you need a safe, low-drama defender with upside, he is worth a closer look; if you need an established shutdown corner today, the public data doesn’t yet support that label.
