6-4 guard with size, bench scoring pop, and defensive activity for CBU
In his first season with California Baptist in 2023-24, Chris Chiles played in 28 games with three starts, averaging 2.0 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.3 assists in 10.9 minutes per game while shooting 36.0% from the field and 31.4% from three; his season high was 9 points off the bench against Abilene Christian.[2][3] The appeal is his guard size at 6-4, plus a defensive presence that showed up in steals and in earning real rotation minutes early in his college career.[6][2] He looks like a fit for a team that values length, upside and energy more than instant high-volume production.[3][6]
