Drew Homschek brings ball-hawking instincts and physicality to UNC’s secondary
Homschek profiles as a **versatile safety** whose standout traits are production and playmaking: in high school he posted **82 tackles**, **13 passes defended**, and **5 interceptions**, while also tying for the team lead in picks. Listed at **6-foot-1, 200 pounds** on UNC’s roster, he looks like a fit for a defense that values range plus contact courage, not just coverage numbers. The key question is translation: his résumé says he can be an impact, turnover-generating defender if his instincts and consistency carry over to the college level.
