Kendall Weik brings real swing-and-miss upside to NC State’s circle
Weik arrives at NC State as a power pitcher with a track record of piling up strikeouts: in the 2025 season at Madison College, she broke the school’s single-season strikeout record with 150 and finished her junior-college career with 267 career Ks and a 3.19 ERA. She also showed she can help in more than one way, hitting .284 in 2025 while handling first base duties. For a staff that wants intensity, durability, and a pitcher who can miss bats, she looks like a legit fit.
