Evan Saito brings gap-to-gap contact and proven junior-college production to CSUN
Saito is a right-handed corner/outfield bat who arrived at Cal State Northridge after starring at Cerritos College, where he earned first-team all-conference honors and led the team with a .363 batting average in 2023-25. His early CSUN numbers are modest in 2026, but the appeal is his contact-driven profile, experience, and projectable 6'2" frame. He looks like a steady, competitive fit for a team needing a disciplined hitter who has already shown he can produce against college pitching.
