Sacramento State’s Malachi Kindle brings size, disruption, and backfield impact to the Hornets’ DL
Kindle looks like a high-motor interior defender with real disruption upside: Sacramento State lists him as a 2025 Cathedral HS grad who posted 61 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks as a senior, while MaxPreps highlighted a game with 11 tackles, 2.0 TFL, and a sack. His calling card is pocket collapse and run-game penetration rather than quiet consistency stats, which makes him appealing for a team needing an active, physical DL who can win in the backfield and set a tone.
