UConn’s downhill, do-it-all senior linebacker
In the 2024 season, Tui Faumuina-Brown became a tone-setting starter for UConn, piling up 88 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, six pass breakups and a forced fumble while ranking 84th nationally in tackles per game (7.3). He’s the kind of linebacker coaches love: long, physical, disruptive in the run game, and reliable enough to stay on the field all year. The extra value is versatility—he can thump, blitz, and flash in coverage—which makes him a fit for a defense that wants a high-motor, multi-use linebacker with production and juice.
