Walter Saenz brings compact, physical DB depth to Texas State
Walter Saenz is a **junior defensive back** for Texas State, listed at 5-7 and 180 pounds, and his value is in compact, battle-tested depth rather than flash.[5] He projects as a short-area, physical coverage piece who can compete underneath and in space, which can matter for a defense looking for reliable, assignment-sound DB help.[5] Publicly available data on his recent on-field production is limited, so the strongest read is from his roster profile: experienced enough to contribute, built more for toughness and leverage than pure size, and a fit if you want a DB who can bring energy and grit to the back end.[5]
