veteran Louisiana Tech corner with old-school DB grit
Roderick Pernetter has the kind of cornerback profile coaches love: experienced, physical, and steady in coverage, with historical notes showing him as a starter at Louisiana Tech and a player trusted in the rotation. In the 1999 season, he started multiple games for the Bulldogs, and contemporary coverage described him as ready to return to a starting role, which signals reliability and coach confidence. The big appeal is fit: he looks like a dependable, no-drama defensive back who can handle assignment football and bring toughness on the edge.
