Iowa State’s veteran interior plug with legit size and gap-control value
Walter Woods III was a classic big-bodied interior DL for Iowa State, listed at 6-0, 318 pounds, and he gave the Cyclones a sturdy run-stuffing presence rather than flashy box-score fireworks. In his Iowa State career, he logged steady rotational snaps and contributed tackles across multiple seasons, including nine games in 2013 with four tackles and eight tackles in 2012. What makes him interesting is the blend of frame, experience, and nose-for-the-trench work: he could anchor against the run, absorb blocks, and help free teammates. If a team wants a dependable interior enforcer, he fits the bill.
