D.J. Wilkes brings veteran Tennessee Tech depth at tight end
D.J. Wilkes is a familiar Tennessee Tech tight end with veteran experience in the program, which usually means trustworthy assignments, solid technique, and a comfort level in the system that younger players are still chasing. Publicly available current stat detail is limited, so the best read is that his value comes more from reliability, blocking usefulness, and steady presence than from gaudy box-score numbers. If you want a TE who can do the dirty work, stay composed, and fit a team-first room, Wilkes looks like a sensible, low-drama add.
