Ryan Weise brings LIU a steady, high-IQ wing who can score, facilitate and space the floor
Weise has profile traits that fit winning basketball: in the 2022-23 season at Eastern Shore, she posted 459 points, 165 rebounds, 138 assists and 58 steals while shooting 41.7% overall and 42.7% from three, showing a rare blend of perimeter shooting, passing and activity on defense. Earlier at LIU, she averaged 7.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game in 2020-21, and later was cited as a scoring leader for the Sharks, suggesting dependable production and versatility. She looks like a good fit for teams needing a smart, multi-use guard who can impact the game without dominating the ball.
