Maggie Helms brings gap power, polish, and veteran steadiness to Maine
In the 2026 season, Maggie Helms has been a reliable senior outfielder for Maine, with timely extra-base production and a knack for driving in runs when the Black Bears need a spark. She delivered a first career home run in March and later posted a 2-for-3 game with two doubles and three RBI in the America East tournament, showing she can impact winning in multiple ways. At 5-foot-10 with a right-handed bat, she looks like a contact-plus-power fit who adds experience, calm, and situational offense to a lineup.
