Khamra Echols Brings Steady Guard Play and Defensive Energy to Sam Houston
Khamra Echols is the kind of guard coaches trust: a proven Sam Houston veteran who appeared in 77 games and scored 508 career points, with a reputation built on consistency, defensive activity, and staying power. She also showed playmaking ability, including a five-assist game in a 2011 win over Southeastern Louisiana, which points to more than just scoring. For a team, her appeal is reliability, poise, and two-way effort rather than flashy numbers.
