CSUN Matadors Forward with Elite Rebounding and Scoring Intensity
John Hayward-Mayhew, a 6'8" flexible forward for the CSUN Matadors, stands out as a great rebounder and consistent scorer with an intensity level that transcends his modest 2.4 PPG and 1.5 RPG career averages. His differentiator is his relentless defensive presence and physicality, born from his Eugene, OR roots and South Eugene High School pedigree, making him a high-fit, battle-tested asset for any team needing a tough, reliable frontcourt player who brings first-team all-conference caliber grit despite limited recent statistical visibility.
