rugged, versatile Arizona linebacker with a strong veteran résumé
In the 2006 season, Dane Krogstad was a dependable Arizona linebacker who finished with 41 tackles and 3.0 tackles for loss, showing enough range and toughness to handle multiple roles in the Wildcats’ front seven. His profile stands out for versatility — Arizona projected him at inside linebacker, while later usage and reporting highlighted his value as a veteran edge/strong-side presence and even a nickel option. He also brought real athletic chops from high school, which helps explain his instinctive, physical style and why coaches trusted him in key spots.
