Florida A&M’s David Buchanon: a steady guard with a proven shooting touch
David Buchanon is a Florida A&M guard whose most visible edge is his perimeter shooting and playmaking feel; in Florida A&M game logs from the 2009 season, he hit a three, handed out 4 assists against UAB, and later showed a .415 three-point mark in depth-chart data, plus a .778 free-throw rate. He looks like a connector more than a volume scorer, which makes him valuable if a team wants a guard who can space the floor, keep the offense moving, and play within structure rather than hunt highlights.
