Lauren Shute brings Richmond a legit 6-2 frontcourt presence
Lauren Shute entered Richmond as a 6-2 forward with power-forward size and a classic inside-out fit for a Spiders front line. Her profile points to a player who can help with rebounding, physical post play, and matchup flexibility, and the broader context matters: Richmond labeled her a freshman to watch early in her career, while her background suggests a disciplined, team-oriented fit rather than a volume-stat star. If you want a rugged, developmental frontcourt piece who adds size and structure, Shute is the kind of player worth a close look.
