Valparaiso freshman DB Nolan Fortman is a depth-piece with intriguing size and upside
Nolan Fortman enters Valparaiso as a freshman defensive back with a 6-2, 180-pound frame that gives him the kind of length coaches love in the secondary[1][3]. Available public stat logs show no recorded game log or current production yet, so the story here is projection: he looks like a developmental DB who can grow into a physical, versatile option if he adds polish and snaps[4][5]. The lack of a news trail also suggests he is still early in his college career, which makes him more of a watchlist name than a proven impact player right now[11].
