High-Intensity Forward with Elite Inside Shooting and Rebounding Grit
Omar Sherman, a 6-8, 260-lb forward for Louisiana Tech, stands out not just for his 9.6 PPG and 7.1 RPG in the 2025 season, but for his relentless inside presence and 72.2% shooting from two-point range, showcasing elite efficiency near the basket. His differentiator is his physical intensity—he plays with a 260-lb frame that dominates the paint, averaging 11 rebounds in a single standout game, and displays a personality marked by quiet leadership and defensive grit. While he has no major injury history, his 2-16 three-point record (12.5%) reveals a clear limitation: he’s not a perimeter shooter, making him a perfect fit for teams needing a high-post, rebounding anchor who can convert close-range opportunities with consistency. If your team values toughness, interior scoring, and rebounding over outside range, Sherman is a top-tier fit.
