UNLV's Scoring Guard Turned Pro Phenom in NBLC & Beyond
Michael Nuga, the 6'2" Nigerian-Canadian guard who averaged 10.0 PTS, 3.4 REB, and 1.1 AST in the 2021-22 season at UNLV after a stellar JUCO run (14.2 PTS at Salt Lake CC), has exploded post-college—named NBLC's top Canadian player with playoff gems like 18 PTS on 6-12 FG vs. Titans and 15 PTS/7 REB/3 AST in key wins for London Lightning. His FIBA AfroBasket qualifiers stats (14 PTS, 3.5 REB, 2.2 AST) and 2025 Road to BAL highlights showcase elite scoring efficiency, rebounding grit for a guard, and international versatility, making him a dynamic, high-IQ fit for pro teams seeking playoff-tested intensity.
