Versatile Notre Dame forward who brings size, rebounds, and all-court toughness
Ericka Haney was a 6-foot-1 guard/forward from Toledo who arrived at Notre Dame as an athletic, versatile two-way piece and quickly backed that billing with production. In the 1998-99 season, she was described by Notre Dame as a strong perimeter player with the physicality to rebound like an interior forward, and she later posted 11.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in the 2000-01 season. She also delivered in big moments, including a 15-point, 10-rebound semifinal against UConn in Notre Dame’s championship run, which makes her the kind of player coaches love for competitiveness, flexibility, and winning impact.
