Northern Colorado RB with a backfield-competition question mark
Current publicly available information is limited, but David Dean is listed with Northern Colorado as a running back, which means his value will come from how well he translates practice reps into live production; at this stage, the key differentiators to watch are burst, contact balance, and pass-game usefulness, especially if he can win snaps on third down. Without verified recent stat lines or scouting reports in the results, the safest read is that he is still more of an evaluation piece than a proven impact player, so he makes sense for a team looking for upside and depth rather than an immediate featured workload.
