John Bloss gives Drake a secondary-minded, recruiting-savvy football presence
John Bloss is a Drake football defensive backs coach and recruiting coordinator who brings program familiarity and position-specific focus to the Bulldogs’ secondary. He returned to his alma mater as an assistant in 2017, and Drake’s staff profile shows him directly tied to DB development and roster building, which suggests value beyond game-day coaching. For a team, he looks like a fit if you want a coach who understands the program, can help shape defensive back play, and has a recruiting role baked into his day-to-day impact. [1][2]
