In the 2025 season, Vincent Shavers Jr. started 12 of 13 games and posted 61 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble, then entered 2026 as Nebraska’s most experienced returning linebacker and a likely defensive centerpiece.
