steady ODU linebacker with special-teams roots and upside
In the 2025 season, Dirrick Goodman appeared in 6 games for Old Dominion and logged 11 total tackles, including a season-high 4 tackles against Appalachian State, while ESPN listed him as an active junior linebacker for 2026. He looks like a grinder: physical, assignment-sound, and valuable on special teams, with enough mobility to stay in the mix for rotational snaps. The differentiator is consistency and toughness more than splash plays, so he fits best for a team that wants a reliable, developmental linebacker who can help immediately in the kicking game.
