veteran South Alabama linebacker with a blue-collar, defense-first profile
Brentt Cunningham arrived at South Alabama as a 2019 signee from West Point, Mississippi, after helping his high school win three straight state titles and piling up 69 tackles as a senior; that winning background shows up in his value as a disciplined, physical linebacker who brings toughness and reliability more than flash. Available roster/stat pages show him as a depth linebacker with limited college production, so the real appeal is his downhill, team-first identity and special-teams grit rather than headline-grabbing stats. If your team wants a steady, culture-fit defender with experience and edge, he’s the kind of player coaches tend to like.
