Butler LB Evan Wray brings stat-sheet production and special-teams value
Evan Wray projects as a dependable, high-effort linebacker who already shows measurable impact, with MaxPreps listing him among the top performers in his league and noting **60 kickoff yards** in high school competition[1]. His value is less about flash and more about versatility, toughness, and willingness to contribute in multiple phases—traits that usually translate well for teams looking for a **gritty, assignment-sound fit**. Publicly available scouting detail is limited, so the strongest read is that he’s a competitive depth/addition candidate rather than a headline star[1].
