Vai Taua was a bruising, efficient workhorse for Nevada
In the 2010 season, Vai Taua was a top-tier Nevada back, rushing for 1,610 yards and 19 touchdowns while adding 226 receiving yards and 3 more scores, showing rare dual-threat value for a power runner.[1][3] His calling card was production, toughness, and consistency: he finished his Nevada career with 4,512 rushing yards and 53 total touchdowns, both top-five marks in program history.[3][7] If you want a dependable, physical runner who can carry volume and finish drives, Taua absolutely fits the bill.[1][3]
