veteran Ohio interior lineman with proven run-game value
Durrell Wood brings the profile of a dependable interior offensive lineman: he was a full-time starter at guard for Ohio in 2016, helping an offense that allowed just 19 sacks while averaging 26.3 points and 392.3 yards per game, including 167.9 rushing yards per game. He entered college as a 6-foot-3, 325-pound lineman and was a 2-star recruit, so his appeal is more about toughness, bulk, and functional trench play than flash. His medical redshirt in 2017 is the main availability note.
