Eastern Washington LB Who Bridged NCAA to CFL Stardom
Shea Emry, a standout linebacker for the Eastern Washington Eagles from 2004-2006, showcased elite tackling instincts and football IQ that propelled him to first-round status in the 2008 CFL Draft; his three NCAA seasons built the foundation for an eight-year pro career, including two Grey Cups, 2012 Defensive Player of the Year runner-up, and Canadian Player of the Year runner-up honors. Known for relentless intensity and leadership, Emry's smooth transition from college to CFL dominance makes him a prototype for developmental LB prospects—tough, versatile, and mentally resilient.
