J.T. Cape is a developmental Duke linebacker with local roots and size upside
Cape brings a classic linebacker frame and projectable upside to Duke, with the kind of local pedigree and developmental profile that can make him a fit for a physical, special-teams-minded roster. Publicly available stat and depth-chart data do not show him as a featured producer yet, so the appeal is less about box-score impact and more about traits, coaching, and growth potential. For a team looking for a hardworking, long-term linebacker add rather than an immediate stat-sheet star, he is the type of player worth tracking.
