James Pelzer brings linebacker toughness and proven production from Sacred Heart roots
James Pelzer profiles as a physical, high-effort linebacker with real production behind him: at Reservoir High School he was a three-time team captain, finished his senior year with 123 tackles, 8 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries, and later earned early college playing time and 11 tackles across eight games at Liberty in 2008. [1] His differentiators are leadership, consistency, and downhill playmaking rather than pure flash, and his background suggests a dependable, coachable defender who can add depth, special-teams value, and toughness to a linebacker room.
