Tramaine Hancock brings steady, smart backcourt production for Northwestern State
Hancock is a veteran guard whose game is built on poise, playmaking, and winning habits rather than flash; in the 2024-25 context, ESPN listed him at 5.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game on 38.2% shooting[1]. Northwestern State’s coaching staff has described him as a smart, tenacious player, and his career profile backs that up: he ranks sixth all-time at NSU in assists and eighth in steals, showing real value as a connector, defender, and late-game decision-maker[8]. He’s the kind of fit teams love when they need toughness, stability, and clean guard play, not just highlight reels[8].
