SEMO anchor with a comeback story and all-OVC recognition
Sam Reynolds is one of Southeast Missouri State’s most dependable offensive linemen in the 2026 season, returning after a strong 2025 campaign in which he started the final eight games at center and earned honorable mention All-OVC honors. He’s a compact, 6-foot, 292-pound interior blocker with real value in pass protection and line stability, and SEMO’s staff has singled him out as one of the offensive line’s returning experience pieces. The bigger differentiator, though, is his resilience: he returned to football after battling acute myeloid leukemia, which gives him a toughness and edge that stats alone can’t capture.
