UCI’s steady two-way veteran and late-game shot-maker
In the 2024-25 season, Nikki Tom gave UC Irvine a dependable all-around guard line, averaging 3.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game, while finishing her career as the program’s all-time leader in steals, games played, games started and minutes played. She’s not a volume scorer, but she brings toughness, durability, defensive activity, and poise—plus the kind of veteran edge that showed up when she buried the game-winner in a 55-53 win over UC Davis in March 2025. For a team needing savvy, defense and reliability, she’s the glue.
