Temple’s dependable, high-motor linebacker with a leadership edge
Amara Kamara profiles as the kind of linebacker coaches trust: a physical, high-effort defender who became a four-year starter at Temple and earned All-MAC recognition in the 2010 season, while also standing out for leadership and community impact. In the 2010 season, he started all 12 games at outside linebacker, finished fourth on the team with 67 tackles, and added four pass breakups. He also wore the captain’s badge and was repeatedly praised for his work ethic, instincts, and intensity—classic “plug him in and stop worrying” material.
