versatile wing who brings size, shooting and international polish
Valtonen is a 6-foot-8, multi-position perimeter player whose value comes from spacing the floor, rebounding his area, and doing the little things for winning teams. In the 2024-25 ACB season with Granada, he averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and shot 41.5% from three, while in the 2025 EuroBasket he posted 7.7 points and 3.2 rebounds for Finland. His differentiator is his mature, low-mistake style: he can defend multiple spots, make open threes, and fit alongside higher-usage stars without needing the ball. This is a strong fit for teams wanting a reliable connector wing rather than a high-volume scorer.
