Matt McFarlane brings size, rim protection, and blue-collar juice to La Salle
Matt McFarlane is a 6-10 forward whose game is built on interior defense, rebounding, and efficient frontcourt production. In his 2020-21 season at Colby Community College, he averaged 10.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game, then carried that hustle-forward profile into La Salle in 2021-22, where he flashed shot-blocking, glass-cleaning, and energy off the bench. He’s the kind of fit that helps a team when it wants physicality, length, and a player who does the dirty work without needing touches.
