Nevada’s Line Anchor Built on Power, Consistency, and Nasty Edge
Brandon Grinstead projects as the kind of offensive lineman coaches love: sturdy, physical, and dependable in the trenches. Reliable public stat lines for an OL are scarce, but the scouting picture around Nevada’s front suggests a blocker whose value comes from technique, leverage, and toughness rather than flash. If you need a guard or tackle who can help stabilize the run game, absorb contact, and bring a blue-collar mentality every snap, he’s a strong fit. The key question is ceiling versus floor—his appeal is in being a trustworthy, hard-nosed piece you can build around.
