Versatile VCU Guard with a Developing Two-Way Base
Dasia Townes is a 5-foot-11 guard from Baltimore who has been a rotation piece for VCU, appearing in 26 games and making one start in the 2021-22 season while averaging 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds.[5][7] Her value is less about box-score volume and more about fit: a bigger guard profile, game experience, and the ability to contribute in multiple spots on the floor.[5][7] Based on the available public data, she profiles as a developmental, depth-friendly guard rather than a finished star, which makes her intriguing for teams that prioritize size, versatility, and upside.
