SMU WR Shelby Walker is a proven veteran target with reliable hands and versatility
Shelby Walker has been a steady SMU wide receiver, with ESPN listing 27 career catches for 338 yards and no drops into the scoring column, while SMU’s roster notes he contributed on both offense and special teams in multiple seasons[3][5]. His 247Sports profile grades him as a solid athlete with above-average speed and agility, suggesting he can separate and handle multiple roles even if he is not a headline size/speed mismatch[4]. For a team, he profiles as a dependable, experienced depth piece who brings effort, versatility, and functional receiving production rather than flashy numbers[3][4][5].
