Vaughn Green brings a polished lefty profile and ace-upside intangibles to Air Force
Vaughn Green is a 6-foot sophomore LHP for Air Force from Johnstown, Colorado, and his card is built on left-handed pitchability, a strong competitive résumé, and real strikeout pedigree: he owns his high school career strikeout record with 220 and twice earned first-team all-state honors. In the 2025 recruiting evaluation, he was noted for a sturdy, strong build and quality feel on the mound, which fits a pitcher who can command, compete, and develop. He also chose the Academy for service and baseball, so the buy-in is very real.
