steady Lamar guard with a veteran’s feel
In the 2026 season, Brennan Doty is listed as a Lamar Cardinals guard and brings a compact, experienced profile at 6-3 with a scoring-and-distribution role rather than flashy volume. ESPN lists him at 2.5 points, 1.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists, and 36.8% shooting in the current statistical snapshot, which points to a low-usage guard who can fit into structure without forcing the action. The bigger sell is his toughness and college-seasoned background—he’s a former transfer who has been around the block, so he’s the type who can raise a locker room’s professionalism and give a team a reliable, no-drama backcourt piece.
