Danny Cox brings veteran LB toughness and proven Drake pedigree
Danny Cox is a familiar Drake linebacker name with a documented history of contributing on defense, including multiple-tackle performances in 2011-12, which points to a reliable, physical, assignment-sound style rather than flashy production[1]. The clearest appeal is his steadiness: he was the kind of defender coaches trust to show up, hit, and do the dirty work in the box[1]. If you want a linebacker who fits a disciplined, no-drama defensive room and can handle contact with consistency, Cox’s profile suggests exactly that[1].
