Tyler Hampton brings a live-arm, dual-threat profile to UAPB
Tyler Hampton enters Arkansas-Pine Bluff as a 6-foot-2, 200-pound freshman QB from North Little Rock, with a reputation for quick release, accuracy on short-to-intermediate throws, and enough mobility to stress defenses outside the pocket. His high school résumé was big-time: as a senior, he threw for 3,606 yards with 39 touchdowns and just six interceptions, helping lead Sylvan Hills to a 6A-East title and the Arkansas Class 6A semifinals. The fit is intriguing if UAPB wants a playmaker who can create when structure breaks—but he’s still an unproven college arm, so the real question is how fast that production translates.
