veteran UMass linebacker with a nose for splash plays
Corey Potter’s profile points to a high-impact, playmaking linebacker for Massachusetts, but the publicly available results here don’t provide current 2026 production stats. Historically, he’s been the kind of defender who shows up in big moments — a tackling volume player with instincts for sacks, interceptions, and disruption — which is exactly the sort of linebacker coaches love because it translates to leadership and momentum swings, not just box-score padding. If UMass is counting on him in 2026, the fit is about toughness, instinct, and “make-a-play” energy.
