Emerging WR with Untapped Potential at Coastal Carolina
Darryl Davis is a wide receiver for Coastal Carolina Chanticleers who played in two games during the 2024 season, recording three catches for 29 yards and one touchdown, though no full-season statistics are available yet[4]. While his on-field production is limited, Davis stands out for his high intensity, clean injury history, and strong character—evidenced by his selection as a Jerry Chabola Award for Character recipient in 2025[3]. His differentiator is not just speed, but reliability and team-first mentality, making him a promising fit for teams seeking depth with upside. Though not yet a stat leader, his personality traits and coachability suggest he could thrive in a structured offense with room to grow.
